Specifications

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm.
  3. Connect cuff: Plug air tube into unit until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results: Rest 5 minutes, avoid caffeine/exercise 30 minutes prior, sit comfortably.

  1. Wrap cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 0.5-1 inch above elbow. Tube should run down center of arm. Secure with D-ring.
  2. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Sit with feet flat, back supported.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display. Hypertension or irregular heartbeat symbols if detected.
  6. Memory storage: Reading automatically stores for current user.
  7. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

View stored readings: Press MEMORY button. Use START/STOP to scroll through readings for current user. Display shows reading number, date/time, values, and any symbols.

Average function: After taking at least 3 readings within 10 minutes, the average of those readings displays automatically after the third measurement.

Clear memory: To delete all readings for current user, press and hold USER button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth if soiled. Do not machine wash or iron.
  2. Storage: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery symbol appears. Remove if not using for extended period.
  4. Unit: Do not subject to strong shocks, humidity, or extreme temperatures.
