Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, flat surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into DC jack on side of unit.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the air connector on left side of unit.
  4. Set date and time: Press SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust, press SET to confirm.

WARNING! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

First-Time Use

Power on monitor; follow setup prompts.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. Apply cuff correctly: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Take measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  5. View results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings display automatically.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not too tight or too loose for accurate readings.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time each day.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff to left arm (unless specified otherwise by physician).
  3. Position cuff at heart level, tube facing downward.
  4. Press START/STOP button; unit will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes and cuff deflates.
  6. Read results on display; note any indicator icons.
  7. Unit automatically stores reading if memory is on.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising for 30 minutes before measurement.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings per user with date and time stamp.

  1. Enable/disable memory: In settings menu, select MEMORY ON/OFF.
  2. Review memory: Press USER to select user, press SET to scroll through readings.
  3. Delete memory: In settings menu, select DELETE ALL for current user.
  4. Average reading: Displays average of last 3 readings taken within last 10 minutes.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed if changed within 3 minutes.

Health Indicators

Hypertension Indicator: Displays if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Irregular Heartbeat Detector: Displays symbol if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Body Movement Indicator: Appears if excessive movement is detected; consider retaking measurement.

Care & Maintenance

Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent; air dry completely.
  2. Storage: Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Battery replacement: Replace when low battery icon appears.
  4. Unit cleaning: Use dry cloth only; never immerse in water.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble unit. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.
