Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into main unit until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Test operation: Without wearing cuff, press START/STOP to ensure display activates.

Tip: For most accurate readings, use AC adapter when available.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display automatically.
  7. Interpret symbols: Note hypertension or irregular heartbeat indicators if shown.
  8. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 2 minutes.

WARNING! Do not use while moving, talking, or immediately after exercise. Consult healthcare professional for medical interpretation.

Memory Function

Store and recall previous measurements.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode (clears current user's data).
  4. Average reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings when memory is accessed.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed (internal backup).

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and device longevity.

  1. Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not use water, chemicals, or abrasives.
  2. Store in provided case when not in use.
  3. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Inspect cuff regularly for wear or damage.
  6. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
