Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
Connect cuff: Insert air plug into main unit until it clicks.
Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
Test operation: Without wearing cuff, press START/STOP to ensure display activates.

Tip: For most accurate readings, use AC adapter when available.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
Start measurement: Press START/STOP button.
Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display automatically.
Interpret symbols: Note hypertension or irregular heartbeat indicators if shown.
Power off: Device turns off automatically after 2 minutes.

Memory Function

Store and recall previous measurements.

Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode (clears current user's data).
Average reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings when memory is accessed.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed (internal backup).

Care & Maintenance
