Initial Setup

Prepare device before first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to main unit until it clicks.
  4. Test: Perform a measurement without wearing to ensure inflation/deflation.

CAUTION! Use only specified batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on floor.
  2. Position cuff: Place on bare left wrist (palm facing up) about 0.5-1 inch from hand.
  3. Secure cuff: Wrap snugly; ensure it's not too tight or loose.
  4. Position arm: Rest elbow on table, raise wrist to heart level (chest height).
  5. Start: Press START/STOP. Remain still and quiet during inflation/deflation.
  6. Read results: Systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse display automatically.
  7. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Avoid talking, moving, or crossing legs during measurement.

Understanding Results

LCD displays: Systolic (upper number), Diastolic (lower number), Pulse rate. Indicators: Irregular Heartbeat Symbol (if detected), Hypertension Indicator (if systolic ≥135 or diastolic ≥85), User Icon (1 or 2), Date/Time of reading.

Refer to blood pressure classification chart (normal, prehypertension, hypertension stages). Consult your physician to interpret readings and establish a monitoring plan.

Memory Function

Store and recall readings for two users.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY briefly to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icons.
  2. Store reading: After measurement, reading is automatically saved to selected user.
  3. Recall readings: Press and hold MEMORY for 2 seconds to view stored readings; use START/STOP to scroll.
  4. Clear memory: While in memory recall, press and hold both buttons for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.

Storage: Keep in storage case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.
