Getting Started

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use arrows to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air plug to main unit until it clicks.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position cuff at heart level, palm up.
  4. Press START/STOP button; cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays when measurement is complete.
  7. Cuff deflates automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Understanding Results

Normal adult blood pressure: Below 120/80 mmHg (systolic/diastolic).

Note: Hypertension indicator lights if reading exceeds 135/85 mmHg (home monitoring guideline). Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement.

Memory Function

Store and review past readings.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to see average of last 3 readings (if supported).
  4. Clear memory: Remove batteries for all memory reset, or delete individual readings as per model.

WARNING! Removing batteries erases all memory. Download important data before battery replacement.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  3. Inspect cuff regularly for wear or damage.
  4. Do not bend or twist air tube excessively.
