Device Setup

Prepare device for first use following these steps.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Attach air tube to monitor connection port until it clicks.
  3. Set date/time: Press SET button, use arrow keys to adjust date and time.
  4. User selection: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Cuff placement: Position cuff on bare upper arm 1-2cm above elbow.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow proper measurement procedure.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measurement.
  3. Apply cuff to bare left arm at heart level.
  4. Press START/STOP button to begin inflation.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Read results on display when measurement completes.
  7. Record reading if desired, or it automatically stores to memory.
  8. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Store and review blood pressure history.

  1. Automatic storage: Each measurement saves to current user's memory.
  2. Review readings: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average calculation: Displays average of last 3 readings for current user.
  4. User switching: Press USER to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.
  5. Memory full: Oldest reading overwritten when memory reaches capacity.

Note: Memory preserved when batteries are replaced (briefly).

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures device longevity and accuracy.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Wipe monitor with soft, dry cloth; never use solvents.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery indicator appears.
  5. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight.
  6. Have device accuracy checked annually by authorized service center.
