Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP Button, Memory Button, Display Screen.

Initial Setup

Power on the device and set the date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (or connect AC adapter).
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm. Position artery marker over brachial artery. Secure snugly.
  4. Position Arm: Rest arm on a table so cuff is at heart level. Sit still with feet flat on floor.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or bathing 30 minutes before measurement.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap the cuff correctly on your left upper arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete. Do not move your arm or talk.
  5. The cuff will deflate automatically. Your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will display.
  6. The reading is automatically stored in memory (if date/time is set).
  7. To turn the unit off, press START/STOP again, or it will power off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff more than once per minute to allow circulation to return.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button to cycle through stored readings. The memory index (e.g., M001) and timestamp will display.
  2. Average of Last 3 Readings: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode to display the average of the last 3 readings taken in the last 10 minutes.
  3. Clear All Memory: With the unit off, press and hold both the START/STOP and MEMORY buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. "CLr" will appear, then "0". All memory will be erased.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter or remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.
  2. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dust, and humidity.
  3. Do not wrap the tubing tightly around the monitor.
  4. Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
