Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use. Keep away from children.

  1. Do not use on infants or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Do not use during dialysis or if you have pre-eclampsia.
  3. Consult physician before use if you have arrhythmia or other circulatory disorders.
  4. Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm.
  5. Keep device away from electromagnetic fields.

Setup and Preparation

Prepare device and yourself for accurate measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Insert cuff tube into connector until it clicks.
  3. Set date/time: Press SET button, use arrows to adjust.
  4. Prepare yourself: Rest for 5 minutes, avoid caffeine/exercise 30 minutes before.
  5. Position cuff: Place 1-2cm above elbow on bare arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.

CAUTION! Do not use on injured or sore arm. Ensure cuff is not too tight or loose.

Controls and Display

Main unit buttons: START/STOP, MEMORY, SET, UP/DOWN arrows.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Hypertension indicator, User indicator (1/2), Memory full icon, Battery low icon, Date/Time, Average value.

Settings Menu: Press SET to access - Time/Date setting, User selection, Memory clear, Unit selection (mmHg/kPa).

Taking Measurements

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with back supported and feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button - cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays when measurement complete - cuff deflates automatically.
  6. Record reading if desired, device stores automatically.
  7. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements on same arm.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 100 readings for two users (50 each).

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button twice to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Device shows average of last 3 readings for current user.
  4. Clear memory: In SET menu, select "Clear All Memory" (requires confirmation).

Note: Memory full icon appears when storage capacity reached.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and device longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth only - do not immerse in water.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry soft cloth.
  3. Store in clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  5. Replace cuff every 2-3 years or if damaged.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble device.
