Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all components. Ensure device is on stable surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into DC jack on side of unit (optional for power).
  3. Prepare cuff: Unroll cuff and ensure air tube is not twisted.
  4. Set date and time: Press SET button, use arrows to adjust, press START/STOP to confirm.

WARNING! Use only specified batteries and adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

First-Time Use

Prepare for accurate measurement by following proper procedure.

  1. Rest quietly: Sit comfortably for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  4. Take measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still until complete.
  5. Record results: Note systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate.

CAUTION! Do not take measurements immediately after exercise, eating, or bathing.

Taking Measurements

For most accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff to left arm (unless specified otherwise by physician).
  3. Ensure cuff is snug but not tight (should fit one finger underneath).
  4. Press START/STOP - device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  7. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements on same person.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Store and review up to 100 readings per user.

  1. Select user: Press SET, use arrows to choose User 1 or 2.
  2. Store reading: Measurements automatically save to selected user.
  3. Review memory: Press MEMORY button, use arrows to scroll.
  4. View average: Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  5. Clear memory: In SET menu, select "Clear All" (requires confirmation).

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings stored per user.

  1. Clean cuff: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  2. Clean unit: Use slightly damp cloth, then dry immediately.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery symbol appears.
  5. Avoid: Extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, strong impacts.

CAUTION! Never use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble unit.
