Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Power on the device; set date and time.

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back.
  2. Insert 2 AAA batteries, observing correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the cover. The display will show all segments briefly.
  4. Press the MEMORY button to set the current date and time. Use the START/STOP button to change values.
  5. Press the USER button (U1/U2) to select your memory profile.

CAUTION! Use only alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for 3 months or more.

Applying the Wrist Cuff

Proper cuff placement is critical for accurate readings.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, exercise, and smoking for 30 minutes prior.
  2. Remove tight clothing from your left wrist. (Use left wrist for best accuracy).
  3. Place the cuff on your bare wrist with the display facing up.
  4. Wrap the cuff snugly around your wrist. The edge should be 0.5 to 1 inch (1-2 cm) from your palm.
  5. Secure the cuff with the cloth closure.
  6. Rest your elbow on a table so the cuff is at heart level. The position marker line should be aligned with the middle of your palm.

Tip: Keep your wrist and fingers relaxed. Do not talk or move during measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for a proper reading.

  1. With the cuff properly applied, press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  2. Remain still and quiet. The cuff will gradually deflate as it measures.
  3. Your systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will appear on the display.
  4. The reading is automatically saved to the selected user's memory.
  5. To turn the unit off, press the START/STOP button again, or it will power off automatically.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your wrist, as this may damage the device.

Memory Function

Review and manage stored readings.

  1. To view memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Press the MEMORY button repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings for the selected user.
  3. Each reading shows the systolic/diastolic values, pulse, date, and time.
  4. To switch users: Press the USER button to toggle between U1 and U2.
  5. To delete ALL memory for the current user: Hold the MEMORY button down for more than 3 seconds until "CLR" appears. Release to confirm deletion.

Note: Memory is retained even when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use dry cloth only; no liquids or aerosols.

CAUTION! Do not immerse any part of the device in water. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the unit.
