Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device before first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust, press SET to confirm.
  3. Select user: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  4. Apply cuff properly: Follow cuff wrap guide for accurate measurements.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking Measurements

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably: Sit with back straight, feet flat on floor, legs uncrossed.
  2. Rest 5 minutes: Remain quiet and still before measuring.
  3. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  5. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  6. Read results: Display shows systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings.
  7. Store reading: Automatically stored to selected user memory.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Symbol Indicators: Hypertension symbol appears if systolic ≥135 or diastolic ≥85. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement. Body movement symbol appears if excessive movement detected.

Memory Function

View and manage stored readings.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: Display shows average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Delete memory: Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings stored for selected user.

Care & Maintenance

Clean device regularly for optimal performance.

  1. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth, then dry completely.
  2. Clean main unit: Wipe with dry soft cloth.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery symbol appears.
  5. Check cuff: Inspect for cracks or leaks periodically.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or thinner. Do not autoclave.
