Safety Information

  4. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same arm.

Device Components

Identify all parts before setup.

  1. Main Unit: Contains display, control buttons, and air pump.
  2. Cuff with D-Ring: Wraps around upper arm (arm circumference range: 9-17 inches).
  3. Air Tube: Connects cuff to main unit.
  4. AC Adapter Port: For optional AC power (model-specific).
  5. Battery Compartment: Holds 4 AA batteries.

First-Time Setup

Prepare device for first measurement.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect cuff: Insert air tube connector into main unit until it clicks.
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use MEMORY button to adjust values.
  4. Select user: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button to select memory location.
  5. Apply cuff: Place on bare upper arm with tube aligned with middle of arm.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes in a seated position before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Wrap cuff snugly around bare upper arm (1 finger should fit under cuff).
  4. Press START/STOP button; device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, and Pulse rate.
  7. Device deflates automatically; press START/STOP to turn off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Understanding Results

Memory & Data Management

Device stores up to 100 readings per user with date/time stamp.

View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.

Average Reading: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to display average of last 3 readings.

Clear Memory: While in memory mode, press and hold START/STOP for 5 seconds to clear current user's memory.

Switch Users: Press USER 1 or USER 2 button to switch between user memories.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry, soft cloth.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not immerse any part in water.
  5. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or stiff.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not twist or kink air tube.

Powered by 4 AA alkaline batteries (included).
