Safety Precautions

  5. Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same person.

Parts Identification

Note: Ensure cuff size matches arm circumference (22-42 cm standard).

Specifications

Initial Setup & Battery Installation

Before first use, install batteries and set date/time.

  1. Open battery compartment on back of unit.
  2. Insert 4 AA batteries, observing polarity (+/-).
  3. Press POWER to turn on unit.
  4. Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to enter clock set mode.
  5. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
  6. Set date (MM/DD/YYYY) and time (12/24 hour format).

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if not used for extended period.

Applying the Cuff

Correct cuff placement is essential for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Remove tight clothing from left upper arm.
  3. Pass end of cuff through metal ring to form loop.
  4. Place cuff on bare arm with air tube positioned over inner arm, aligned with artery.
  5. Cuff edge should be 1-2 cm above elbow.
  6. Secure cuff snugly with cloth hook.
  7. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.

Tip: Always use same arm for consistent measurements.

Taking a Measurement

Remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  2. Press START/STOP button to begin inflation.
  3. Cuff inflates automatically. Remain still, do not talk.
  4. Measurement completes when cuff deflates fully.
  5. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse.
  6. Unit automatically stores reading and powers off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm. Excessive pressure may cause injury.

Memory Function

View and manage stored readings.

  1. Press MEMORY button to enter memory mode.
  2. Press USER to select user (1 or 2).
  3. Press START/STOP to scroll through readings (newest to oldest).
  4. Hold MEMORY for 3 seconds while viewing a reading to delete it.
  5. To clear all readings for a user: Enter memory mode, hold MEMORY and USER simultaneously for 5 seconds.

CAUTION! Deleted readings cannot be recovered.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Clean cuff with mild detergent and damp cloth. Air dry completely.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Do not bend air tube sharply or pull on it.
  5. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or loses elasticity.

CAUTION! Never immerse unit in water. Do not autoclave.
