Safety Information
Read all instructions before use. For home use only.
- Do not use on infants, small children, or persons unable to express themselves.
- Do not use during blood dialysis or if you have pre-eclampsia (consult physician).
- Do not wrap cuff over clothing. Apply directly to bare upper arm.
- Remain still and do not talk during measurement.
- Wait at least 5 minutes between consecutive measurements on the same person.

Parts Identification
Familiarize yourself with the device components.
- Main Unit: Contains display, control buttons, and air hose connector.
- Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure, pulse, indicators, and memory.
- START/STOP Button: Initiates and stops measurement.
- Memory Button: Recalls stored readings.
- Upper Arm Cuff: Wraps around upper arm. Contains air bladder and D-ring.
- Air Hose: Connects cuff to main unit.
- AC Adapter Jack: For optional external power (model dependent).
- Battery Compartment: Holds 4 AA batteries.
CAUTION! Do not bend or twist the air hose excessively.
Initial Setup & Battery Installation
Power on the device; set date and time.
- Install Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
- Set Date/Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, MEMORY to confirm and move to next setting.
- Connect AC Adapter (Optional): Plug adapter into jack and into wall outlet. Device will use AC power and conserve batteries.
Tip: Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears on the display.
Applying the Cuff
- Cuff Size: Fits arm circumferences 9" to 17" (22cm to 42cm). Use correct size for accurate readings.
- Position: Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor. Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
- Application:
- Insert arm through cuff loop. Place cuff 0.5-1 inch above elbow.
- Secure cuff snugly using the cloth D-ring. Hose should align with center of inner arm.
- Cuff should be tight enough to fit one fingertip under the top edge.
Taking a Measurement
Remain seated and relaxed for 5 minutes before measuring.
- Apply cuff correctly as described.
- Sit still with back straight, feet flat, and cuff at heart level.
- Press the START/STOP button. All display symbols will appear briefly.
- The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain perfectly still and quiet.
- Measurement completes when cuff deflates fully. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings display.
- Press START/STOP to turn the unit off, or it will power off automatically after 1 minute.
WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around an arm.
Understanding the Display
Access OSD via TV MENU or SETUP (DVD). Front Panel: POWER, OPEN/CLOSE, AUTO/DPMS, MUTE.

Memory Function
Stores readings for two users (100 readings each).
- Select User: Press the MEMORY button before measurement to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icon.
- Recall Memory: Press MEMORY after the unit is on (but not measuring) to scroll through stored readings for the selected user. Displays reading number, values, date, and time.
- Clear Memory: To clear all readings for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button while in memory recall mode until 'CLr' appears.
Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for accurate tracking.
Care & Maintenance
Remove batteries before extended storage. Clean with a soft, dry cloth only.
- Do not immerse unit or cuff in water. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
- Cuff can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Air dry completely before storage.
- Store device and cuff in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and strong magnetic fields.

Troubleshooting
