Safety Precautions

  1. Do not use on infants, children, or persons who cannot express themselves.
  2. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise or bathing.
  3. Do not wrap cuff over clothing or apply too tightly.
  4. Do not modify or disassemble the device.
  5. Keep device away from extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.

Getting Started

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into AC port and wall outlet (optional).
  3. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably on a chair with back support, feet flat on floor.
  2. Rest arm on table with palm up, cuff at heart level.
  3. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays with systolic, diastolic, and pulse.
  6. Device deflates automatically; reading is stored in memory.
  7. Wait at least 3 minutes before taking another measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day, before medication or meals, for consistent tracking.

Hypertension indicator appears if systolic ≥ 135 or diastolic ≥ 85. Irregular heartbeat symbol appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement.

Memory Function

Store and review readings for two users.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. View memory: Press and release MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: Display shows average of last 3 readings when memory is accessed.
  4. Clear memory: Remove batteries for all memory reset, or overwrite when full.

Note: Memory full symbol appears when 100 readings are stored per user.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; air dry completely.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry soft cloth; do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Have device checked for accuracy every 2 years.

CAUTION! Do not immerse device in water. Do not wash cuff in washing machine.
