Initial Setup

Power on device; set date and time.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  3. Apply cuff to left upper arm as described.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  7. Cuff deflates automatically. Press START/STOP to turn off.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or drinking caffeine 30 minutes before measurement.

Understanding the Display

Main Display: Shows systolic/diastolic pressure (mmHg) and pulse rate (bpm).

Icons: User indicator (1 or 2), Memory full, Irregular heartbeat, Body movement, Hypertension indicator, Low battery, Date/Time.

Error Codes: E1 (Cuff not attached properly), E2 (Measurement error), E3 (Pulse rate out of range), E5 (Cuff over-inflated).

Memory Recall & Average

Recall past readings or view average of last 3 readings.

  1. Press MEMORY button to enter memory mode.
  2. Use START/STOP to scroll through stored readings (shows date/time).
  3. Press USER 1 or USER 2 to switch between user memories.
  4. To view average of last 3 readings, press MEMORY twice in quick succession.
  5. Press START/STOP to exit memory mode.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed or replaced.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

  1. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.
  2. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place.
  3. Inspect cuff regularly for cracks or wear.
