Initial Setup

Power on device; set date/time and user profiles.

  1. Insert batteries or connect AC adapter: Open battery compartment, install 4 AA batteries (optional).
  2. Set date/time: Press MEMORY for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust, press MEMORY to confirm.
  3. Select user: Press USER to choose User 1 or User 2 (profiles stored separately).
  4. Connect cuff: Attach air tube to main unit connector until click is heard.
  5. Bluetooth pairing: Press Bluetooth button, open Omron Connect app, follow on-screen instructions.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size; improper fit affects accuracy. Cuff should fit snugly but not tight.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time daily, before medication or exercise.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest 5 minutes before measuring, feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level, palm up.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP; cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse display; hypertension indicator if reading is high.
  7. Store reading: Reading automatically saves to selected user memory.
  8. Repeat for average: For AVERAGE mode, take 3 readings within 10 minutes; device calculates average.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff while wrapped on arm without monitor. Avoid excessive use on same arm within 10 minutes.

Using the Omron Connect App

Sync data for tracking, sharing, and insights.

  1. Download app: Install "Omron Connect" from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Create account: Register with email or use guest mode.
  3. Pair device: Enable Bluetooth on smartphone, press Bluetooth button on monitor, follow app prompts.
  4. Sync readings: Measurements automatically transfer to app after each reading.
  5. View trends: Check graphs, averages, and history in app.

Memory Recall & Data Management

  2. Main unit: Clean with dry cloth; avoid solvents or abrasives.
  3. Storage: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Battery care: Remove batteries if not used for 3 months; replace when low battery icon appears.
  5. Cuff inspection: Check for cracks or wear; replace if damaged (part #HEM-7911T-CUFF).
