Before First Use

Prepare the device for initial measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open compartment on back, insert 4 AA batteries as indicated.
  2. Apply Cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Expose left upper arm (recommended). Place cuff with tube facing down and artery mark over brachial artery.
  3. Secure Cuff: Pass end through D-ring and tighten snugly (1 finger should fit between cuff and arm).
  4. Position: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Sit with back straight, feet flat.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or drinking caffeine 30 minutes before measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Press START/STOP button. All display symbols will appear briefly.
  2. Cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and do not flex arm.
  3. As cuff deflates, measurement values will appear.
  4. When measurement is complete, cuff deflates fully. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings are displayed.
  5. To view last reading, press MEMORY button.
  6. Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff manually. If uncomfortable, press START/STOP to stop.

Understanding the Display

Reading example: 120/80 (65).

Memory Function

Stores the last measurement only.

  1. After taking a reading, press MEMORY button to recall it.
  2. The "M" icon appears with the stored values.
  3. Taking a new measurement overwrites the previous memory.
  4. Memory is cleared when batteries are removed.

Note: For tracking trends over time, record readings in a log or use a model with expanded memory.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug air tube and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Wipe main unit and cuff with a soft, dry cloth.
  2. Do not immerse in water or use detergents.
  3. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place.
  4. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  5. Replace batteries when low indicator appears.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt repairs. Have unit serviced by authorized personnel only.
