CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly sized for your arm circumference (22-32 cm). Using wrong size may affect accuracy.

Specifications

Initial Setup

Power on device; set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect air tube to main unit until it clicks.
  4. Test operation: Press START/STOP to ensure device powers on.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably: Feet flat on floor, back supported, arm at heart level.
  2. Wrap cuff: Place cuff 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff: Tighten so 1-2 fingers fit between cuff and arm.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP, remain still and quiet during inflation/deflation.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display automatically.
  6. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 14 readings for each of 2 users with date/time stamp.

  1. Select user: Press Memory button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  2. Store reading: After measurement, reading is automatically stored for selected user.
  3. Recall memory: Press Memory button twice quickly to view stored readings.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold Memory button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.

Note: When memory is full, oldest reading is automatically deleted for new one.

Understanding Results

Normal range: Systolic <120 mmHg, Diastolic <80 mmHg (WHO guidelines).

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.

  1. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  2. Remove batteries if not using for 3 months or more.
  3. Clean cuff with mild detergent if soiled; air dry completely.
  4. Avoid bending air tube sharply or pulling forcefully.
  5. Do not immerse any part in water.
