Initial Setup

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate reading, sit in a quiet environment with your feet flat on the floor.

1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
2. Apply the cuff: Slide your arm through the D-ring. Place the cuff 1-2 cm above your elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your arm. Tighten the cuff snugly.
3. Start measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
4. Remain still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The cuff will deflate automatically.
6. Power off: The monitor turns off automatically about 1 minute after the measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day, before meals or medication.

Understanding the Display

LCD Symbols and their meanings:

• SYS / DIA: Systolic / Diastolic pressure (mmHg).
• Pulse Symbol: Pulse rate (beats per minute).
• User Icon (1 or 2): Indicates which user's memory is active.
• Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if an irregular rhythm is detected.
• Hypertension Indicator: A heart symbol may flash if reading exceeds preset limits.
• Clock Icon: Indicates date/time stamp for memory recall.
• AVG: Displayed when showing average of last 3 readings.
• Battery Icon: Indicates battery level (replace when low).

Memory Function

Stores up to 60 readings for each of the two users.

1. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading displays.
2. Scroll: Press MEMORY again to scroll through previous readings, showing date and time.
3. Average: After 3 readings within 10 minutes, press START/STOP while in memory mode to display the average.
