Initial Setup

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate reading, sit in a quiet environment with your feet flat on the floor.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit on a chair with back support. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Apply the cuff: Slide your arm through the D-ring. Place the cuff 1-2 cm above your elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your arm. Tighten the cuff snugly.
  3. Start measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not move or talk during inflation and measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. The cuff will deflate automatically.
  6. Power off: The monitor turns off automatically about 1 minute after the measurement.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day, before meals or medication.

Understanding the Display

LCD Symbols and their meanings:

Memory Function

Stores up to 60 readings for each of the two users.

  1. View Memory: Press the MEMORY button. The most recent reading displays.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY again to scroll through previous readings, showing date and time.
  3. Average: After 3 readings within 10 minutes, press START/STOP while in memory mode to display the average.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear all data for the current user, press and hold the USER button for 3 seconds while in memory mode. "CLR" will flash.

Note: Memory is retained even when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Cuff: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  2. Main Unit: Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
