First-Time Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Insert 4 AA batteries into the compartment, observing polarity. Alternatively, connect the AC adapter.
  2. Attach the cuff: Connect the cuff tube to the port on the left side of the monitor until it clicks.
  3. Pair with app: Download "OMRON Connect" from App Store or Google Play. Turn on Bluetooth® on your smartphone. Press the MEMORY button for 3 seconds until the Bluetooth® icon blinks, then follow app instructions.
  4. Set time/date: Use the OMRON Connect app to sync time and date to the monitor.

CAUTION! Do not use rechargeable batteries. Use only recommended battery type.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day, before exercise or eating.

  1. Rest quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit on a chair with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Wrap the cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Keep cuff at heart level. Rest arm on table.
  5. Press START/STOP. The cuff inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes and cuff deflates.
  7. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse. Icons show irregularities or morning reading.
  8. Reading is automatically stored for the selected user and synced if Bluetooth® is connected.

Tip: Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Using the OMRON Connect App

The app provides tracking, trends, and sharing capabilities.

  1. Download and install "OMRON Connect" from official app store.
  2. Create an account and profile.
  3. Pair the monitor as described in First-Time Setup.
  4. After each measurement, data syncs automatically (if within range).
  5. View trends, weekly/monthly averages, and morning/evening comparisons.
  6. Share reports with your doctor via email or print.
  7. Set target ranges and receive reminders to measure.

Memory & Data Management

Viewing Stored Readings on Device:

  1. Press MEMORY button. Display shows most recent reading for current user.
  2. Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through previous readings.
  3. Press USER button to switch between User 1 and User 2 memory.
  4. Average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes is displayed after the third reading.

Deleting All Data: Press and hold the MEMORY and USER buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. "CLR" appears, then all data for the selected user is erased.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter or remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean cuff and monitor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.
  2. Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, or abrasive cleaners.
  3. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.
  5. Inspect cuff periodically for cracks or leaks.

CAUTION! Do not wash the cuff. Do not disassemble the monitor.
