Safety Precautions

  2. Do not use during or immediately after physical exercise or bathing.
  3. Ensure cuff is at heart level during measurement.
  4. Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped around arm.
  5. Use only the specified AC adapter.

WARNING! Consult your physician before use if you have arrhythmia, pre-eclampsia, or other circulatory disorders. Do not over-tighten cuff.

First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or connect AC adapter.
  2. Set date and time: Press SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust, press SET to confirm.
  3. Download OMRON Connect app: Available on iOS and Android from app stores.
  4. Pair with smartphone: Enable Bluetooth on phone, follow app instructions to pair with monitor.
  5. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on left upper arm (or as directed by physician).
  3. Position cuff at heart level, rest arm on table.
  4. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Reading displays systolic, diastolic, and pulse.
  7. Results are automatically stored for current user.
  8. To turn off, press START/STOP again or unit powers off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Using the OMRON Connect App

App provides tracking, trends, and sharing with healthcare providers.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on monitor (SET menu) and smartphone.
  2. Open OMRON Connect app, follow pairing instructions.
  3. After measurement, data syncs automatically to app.
  4. View trends, morning hypertension comparisons, and history graphs.
  5. Export data via email or PDF report.

Note: App requires iOS 10.0 or later, Android 5.0 or later.

Memory and Data Review

Review stored readings on device or via app.

  1. Select user: Press SET to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press Memory button to scroll through stored readings.

  4. Morning Hypertension: Monitor compares average of last 7 morning readings vs. evening.

WARNING! Clearing memory is permanent; sync to app first if needed.
