Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, Memory button, User button (1/2), Bluetooth button, Display.

Connections: Cuff tube port, AC adapter port (DC 6V).

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, apply cuff properly.

  1. Power: Insert 4 AA batteries or plug in AC adapter.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Cuff Application: Place cuff on bare upper arm. The tube should run down the center of your arm. Secure with the D-Ring.
  4. Positioning: Sit comfortably with feet flat, back supported, and cuff at heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Sit correctly as described in Initial Setup.
  2. Wrap the cuff snugly around your upper arm (1-2 cm above elbow).
  3. Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  5. Your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will display.
  6. To turn off the unit, press START/STOP again, or it will power off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your arm. Do not over-tighten the cuff.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure (top number), diastolic pressure (middle number), and pulse rate.

Irregular Heartbeat IconAn irregular heartbeat was detected during the measurement. Consult your physician if it appears frequently.
Hypertension IndicatorYour reading is above the normal range (based on systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg).
Body Movement IconExcessive movement was detected. Remain still and retake the measurement.
Morning Indicator (AM)Reading was taken between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM.

Memory & Data Management

Stores 100 readings per user for 2 users (200 total).

  1. Select User: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icons.
  2. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings for the selected user. The average of the last 3 readings taken in the last 10 minutes is also displayed.
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all memory for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.

Bluetooth Connectivity

Sync data wirelessly to the Omron Connect app for tracking and sharing with your doctor.

  1. Download the free "Omron Connect" app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone/tablet.
  3. On the monitor, press the Bluetooth button. The Bluetooth icon will flash.
  4. Open the Omron Connect app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the device.
  5. After taking a measurement, data will automatically transfer to the app when the monitor is near your device.

Note: The monitor stores readings internally regardless of Bluetooth connection.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Casing: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Cuff: Can be cleaned with a mild detergent and damp cloth. Air dry completely before storage. Do not machine wash, iron, or dry clean.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dust, and moisture.
  4. Batteries: Replace all 4 batteries when the low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for 3 months or longer.

CAUTION! Never immerse the main unit, cuff, or AC adapter in water or other liquids.

Troubleshooting
