Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug into DC jack on side of unit.
  3. Set date/time: Press SET, use arrows to adjust, press SET to confirm.
  4. Select user: Press USER to toggle between User 1 and User 2.

Tip: Use AC adapter for prolonged use to conserve batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time each day.

  1. Rest quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit correctly: Feet flat, back straight, arm supported at heart level.
  3. Apply cuff: Expose left arm, align artery marker with brachial artery, wrap snugly.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes and cuff deflates.
  6. View results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display with indicators if applicable.
  7. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement.

Memory & Data Management

Stores 100 readings per user (2 users total).

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings with date/time.
  2. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold SET for 3 seconds.
  3. Average reading: Displays average of last 3 readings taken in last 10 minutes.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 100 readings are stored for a user.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean cuff: Use mild soap and damp cloth. Air dry completely.
  2. Clean unit: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents.
  3. Storage: Keep in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Battery replacement: Replace when low battery icon appears.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit or cuff in water. Do not wash cuff in washing machine.
