Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP button, MEMORY button, USER button (for switching between two users), Display.

Initial Setup

Before first use: Install batteries or connect AC adapter, set date/time, apply cuff properly.

  1. Power: Insert 4 AA batteries or plug in AC adapter.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds until year flashes. Use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Cuff Application: Insert cuff tube into connector. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Positioning: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Avoid caffeine, smoking, or exercise 30 minutes prior.

Taking a Measurement

  1. Sit correctly: As described in Initial Setup.
  2. Apply cuff: Ensure air tube is aligned with artery (marked by arrow).
  3. Press START/STOP: Unit will inflate automatically. Remain still.
  4. Reading: Results display with systolic, diastolic, and pulse. Hypertension indicator lights if high.
  5. Memory: Reading is automatically stored with time/date for current user.
  6. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped on arm. Do not touch cuff during measurement.

Memory & Data Management

Supports 2 users with 100 memory slots each (total 200).

  1. Switch User: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 icons.
  2. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings. Display shows average of last 3 readings if available.
  3. Clear Memory: To delete all readings for current user, press and hold MEMORY while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.
  4. Date/Time Stamp: Each reading includes date and time of measurement.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings are stored for a user.
