Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter and set date/time.

Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or connect AC adapter.
Set Date and Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values.
Attach Cuff: Connect cuff tube to the port on the side of the monitor.

Tip: For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day in a quiet environment.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor.
Wrap the cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
Position arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
Reading displayed: Results (Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse) will appear on screen. Note any warning symbols.
Cuff deflates automatically. Press START/STOP to turn off the device.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level.

Understanding the Results

Refer to the following classification (based on general guidelines).

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 readings with date and time.

View Memory: Press MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings in reverse chronological order.
Average: The display shows the average of the last 3 readings taken in the last 10 minutes.
Clear Memory: To clear all memory, remove batteries or disconnect AC adapter for more than 1 minute.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning.

Clean the cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
Clean the main unit with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears.
