Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter and set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or connect AC adapter.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Attach Cuff: Connect cuff tube to the port on the side of the monitor.

Tip: For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day in a quiet environment.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for an accurate reading.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor.
  2. Wrap the cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  5. Reading displayed: Results (Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse) will appear on screen. Note any warning symbols.
  6. Cuff deflates automatically. Press START/STOP to turn off the device.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level.

Memory Function

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button. The most recent reading appears.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. Average: The display shows the average of the last 3 readings taken in the last 10 minutes.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear all memory, remove batteries or disconnect AC adapter for more than 1 minute.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug or remove batteries before cleaning.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. No user-serviceable parts inside.
