Device Overview

Front Panel: Large LCD display, START/STOP button, Memory (M) button.

Display Symbols: Systolic pressure, Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, Hypertension indicator, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Body movement symbol, Memory index, Date/Time, Battery level.

Side/Back: AC adapter port, Cuff connector, Battery compartment cover.

Initial Setup

Power on and set date/time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press and hold the Memory (M) button for 3 seconds. Use START/STOP to adjust values, press M to confirm and move to next setting.
  3. Connect Cuff: Plug the cuff tube firmly into the port on the side of the monitor.
  4. Test Run: Without wrapping the cuff, press START/STOP to ensure the unit powers on and display is clear.

Tip: For most accurate readings, set the correct date and time first.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Prepare: Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  2. Apply Cuff: Slide your arm through the D-Ring. Place the cuff 1-2 cm above your elbow. The artery index line should run down the center of your arm. Secure snugly with the cloth wrap.
  3. Start Measurement: Press the START/STOP button. The cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  4. Read Results: After deflation, your systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings will display. Symbols will appear for irregular heartbeat or hypertension if detected.
  5. Power Off: The monitor will automatically turn off after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off immediately.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level for accurate results.

Understanding Results

The display shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), and pulse rate (bottom).

Note: A single reading is a snapshot. Track trends over time and share all readings with your doctor.

Memory Function

Stores up to 200 readings with date and time.

  1. View Memory: Press the Memory (M) button. The most recent reading displays. Press M again to scroll through previous readings.
  2. Average of Last 3: If three readings are taken within 10 minutes, the average of those three will display after the third reading.
  3. Clear Memory: To clear all memory, remove all batteries for 5 minutes. Reinsert batteries. Note: Date and time will need to be reset.

Tip: Use the memory log to track your blood pressure over weeks and months.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Monitor & Cuff: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.
  2. Tubing: Do not bend or kink the air tube excessively.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  4. Batteries: Replace batteries when the low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries for best performance.
