Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, remain still and quiet during measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably on a chair with your feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  2. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.

  4. Secure the cuff snugly, but not too tight.
  5. Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will inflate automatically.
  6. Remain still and do not talk until the measurement is complete and the cuff deflates.
  7. Your systolic/diastolic pressure and pulse rate will be displayed and automatically stored in the selected user's memory.

WARNING! Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around an arm.
