Initial Setup

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter, set time and date.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set time and date: Press TIME SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values, press TIME SET to confirm.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert cuff tube into air connector on left side of unit until it clicks.

Tip: For most accurate readings, use AC adapter or fresh alkaline batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, rest for 5 minutes before measuring, avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit correctly: Sit with back straight, feet flat on floor, arm supported at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, position artery mark over brachial artery, secure with D-Ring.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet during inflation and measurement.
  4. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings display. Hypertension or irregular heartbeat symbols appear if detected.
  5. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off immediately.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure cuff is at heart level.

Memory & Data Management

Memory stores 200 readings with date/time. Press MEMORY button to review.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button to cycle through stored readings.
  2. View average: After 3 readings within 10 minutes, average displays automatically.
  3. Clear memory: Hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears (clears all data).
  4. Morning/Evening indicator: Manually set in memory view to tag readings.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are removed (clock resets).

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol or abrasive cleaners. Keep away from electromagnetic sources.
