First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press CLOCK button, use MEMORY button to adjust values, SET to confirm.
  3. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the left side of the monitor until it clicks.
  4. Apply cuff correctly: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, follow these steps.

  1. Prepare: Avoid eating, smoking, exercising, or bathing 30 minutes before. Rest for 5 minutes.
  2. Position: Sit on chair with feet flat, back supported. Place arm on table with cuff at heart level.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff snugly on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  4. Start: Press START/STOP button. Monitor inflates automatically via IntelliSense.
  5. Remain still: Keep still and quiet during measurement. Do not move arm or talk.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on display. Symbols show warnings if applicable.
  7. Store: Reading is automatically stored with date/time for selected user.
  8. Power off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP to turn off.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff over clothing. Remain still during measurement for accuracy.

Memory Function

Stores 90 readings (45 per user) with date and time.

  1. Select user: Press User Select button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. Automatic storage: Each measurement is stored automatically for selected user.
  3. Recall memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings. Display shows reading number, values, date/time.
  4. Average function: After 3 readings within 10 minutes, AVERAGE icon appears; press MEMORY to view average of last 3.
  5. Clear memory: To clear all memory, remove batteries while holding MEMORY button for 5 seconds (resets both users).

Tip: Memory full icon appears when 45 readings are stored for a user; oldest reading is overwritten.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids or aerosols.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth if soiled; air dry completely before storage.
  2. Storage: Store in provided case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Remove if not used for extended period.
  4. Avoid: Extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, shock, and strong electromagnetic fields.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit or cuff in water. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
