First-Time Setup

Prepare the device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into DC jack and wall outlet (optional, for continuous power).
  3. Set date and time: Press MEMORY button, use UP/DOWN to set, press START/STOP to confirm.
  4. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the air connector on the left side of the unit.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries or the included AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably: Keep feet flat on floor, back straight, arm supported at heart level.
  2. Wrap cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff: Tighten so one finger fits between cuff and arm.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  6. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on display.
  7. Power off: Device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings with date and time for two users.

  1. Select user: Press MEMORY, then UP/DOWN to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY twice to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Clear memory: In memory mode, hold DOWN button for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.
  4. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for current user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.
