Device Overview

Front Panel: START/STOP Button, Memory Button, User Select Button (1/2), Power Jack.

Display Symbols:
Systolic/Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, User Indicator (1 or 2), Memory Full Icon, Hypertension Indicator, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, Body Movement Symbol, Date/Time, Average Reading Icon, Low Battery Symbol.

Cuff: D-Ring design with metal clasp, air tube connector, and artery position marker.

Initial Setup

Before first use, set the date and time, and insert batteries or connect AC adapter.

  1. Power Source: Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or connect the AC adapter to the unit and a wall outlet.
  2. Set Date/Time: Press and hold the Memory button for 3 seconds. Use the START/STOP button to adjust values. Press Memory to confirm.
  3. Cuff Connection: Plug the cuff tube firmly into the port on the left side of the monitor.
  4. User Selection: Press the User button to select User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

Tip: For most accurate readings, use the AC adapter. Batteries are for portable use.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes prior.

  1. Sit on a chair with feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  2. Remove tight clothing from your upper arm.
  3. Wrap the cuff around your bare upper arm. The bottom edge should be 1-2 cm above the elbow. The air tube should run down the center of your arm.
  4. Secure the cuff snugly using the D-Ring. The artery marker (▲) should align with your brachial artery.
  5. Rest your arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Relax your hand, palm up.
  6. Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and results are displayed.
  8. The monitor will automatically deflate. Record your reading if desired.
  9. To turn the unit off, press the START/STOP button again, or it will power off automatically after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Ensure the cuff is at heart level for accurate results.

Memory Function

The monitor stores 100 readings for each of two users.

  1. Select User: Press the User button to switch between User 1 and User 2 before taking a measurement. The user icon (1 or 2) will show on the display.
  2. View Memory: Press the Memory button. The most recent reading for the selected user will appear. Press Memory repeatedly to scroll through all stored readings in reverse chronological order.
  3. Average Reading: If three readings are taken within 10 minutes, the average of those three will be calculated and displayed with an "AVG" icon when viewing memory.
  4. Clear Memory: To clear memory for the selected user, press and hold the Memory button for 5 seconds while in memory mode. "CLR" will flash, then all readings for that user will be deleted.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Cleaning: Wipe the monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, thinner, or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Cuff Care: Do not fold the cuff tightly or twist the air tube excessively. Store loosely in the provided case.
  3. Batteries: Replace all 4 AA batteries when the low battery symbol appears. Do not mix old and new batteries.
  4. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, dust, and humidity.

CAUTION! Never immerse the monitor, cuff, or AC adapter in water or other liquids. Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit.
