Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate blood pressure measurement.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor and back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing palm.
  3. Position cuff at heart level with arm resting on table.
  4. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  5. Remain still and quiet during inflation and deflation.
  6. View results on display after measurement completes.
  7. Press START/STOP again to turn off monitor.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement as this may affect accuracy.

Memory Function

The monitor stores readings for two users with date and time.

Viewing Memory: Press MEMORY button to display stored readings. Use START/STOP to scroll through readings.

Clearing Memory: While viewing memory, press and hold SET button for 3 seconds until "CLR" appears. Select user to clear.

Average Reading: Automatically calculates average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes when memory is viewed.

Understanding Readings

Note: Readings may vary throughout the day. Take measurements at consistent times for tracking.
