Specifications

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Open battery compartment and insert 4 AA batteries, observing polarity.
  2. Alternatively, connect AC adapter to unit and wall outlet.
  3. Press SET button to enter setup mode.
  4. Use START/STOP button to adjust values, SET button to confirm.
  5. Set date (MM/DD/YYYY) and time (12/24 hour format).

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor and back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position cuff at heart level with air tube facing down.
  4. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete.
  6. Results display systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate.
  7. Unit automatically powers off after 1 minute of inactivity.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores 60 readings with date and time stamp.

  1. Press MEMORY button to view stored readings.
  2. Use START/STOP button to scroll through memory.
  3. Hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear all memory.
  4. Averaging function calculates average of last 3 readings.

  5. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or worn.
