Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.

Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
Apply cuff to left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
Press POWER button to turn on device.
Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
Remain still and quiet during inflation and deflation.
Reading displays when complete. Note systolic/diastolic pressures and pulse.
Press POWER to turn off, or device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same arm.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 84 readings total (42 per user).

Select User: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
Clear Memory: Press and hold MEMORY button while in memory mode until "CLr" appears.
Average Reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings taken within last 10 minutes.
