Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff properly: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

CAUTION! Use correct cuff size. Using wrong size may result in inaccurate readings.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Apply cuff to left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Press POWER button to turn on device.
  4. Press START/STOP button to begin measurement.
  5. Remain still and quiet during inflation and deflation.
  6. Reading displays when complete. Note systolic/diastolic pressures and pulse.
  7. Press POWER to turn off, or device turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Wait at least 5 minutes between measurements on the same arm.

Memory Function

Device stores up to 84 readings total (42 per user).

Hypertension Indicator: Displays if systolic ≥ 135 mmHg or diastolic ≥ 85 mmHg.

Irregular Heartbeat Detection: Symbol appears if irregular heartbeat detected during measurement.

Body Movement Detection: Symbol appears if excessive movement detected; measurement may restart.

IntelliSense Technology: Automatically determines optimal inflation level for each user.

Maintenance & Care

Proper maintenance ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean cuff with mild soap and damp cloth; do not immerse in water.
  2. Wipe main unit with dry soft cloth only.
  3. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  5. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners. Do not disassemble unit.
