Initial Setup

First-time setup for accurate measurements.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into AC jack for continuous power (optional).
  3. Set date and time: Press SET button, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  5. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.

Tip: Rest for 5 minutes before first measurement. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably: Back supported, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  2. Apply cuff: Wrap snugly 1-2 cm above elbow, tube facing downward.
  3. Position arm: Rest arm on table with palm facing upward.
  4. Start measurement: Press START/STOP button, remain still and quiet.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display automatically.
  6. Store reading: Automatically saved to selected user memory.
  7. Remove cuff: After measurement completes and cuff deflates fully.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Wait 3 minutes between readings.

Memory Function

View and manage stored readings.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Delete readings: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds to clear all readings for selected user.
  4. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Clean cuff: Wipe with soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  2. Clean unit: Use dry cloth only. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  3. Store properly: Keep in storage case in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Replace batteries: When low battery symbol appears, replace all 4 batteries.
  5. Cuff care: Avoid twisting or bending tube. Check for cracks or wear regularly.
