Setup and Preparation

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.

  3. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use MEMORY button to adjust.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube aligns with artery.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap cuff properly on left arm (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  3. Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Reading displays when complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
  6. Record reading if desired. Device stores automatically.
  7. Wait at least 3 minutes before taking another reading.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings per user.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. View average: Press and hold MEMORY to see average of last 3 readings.
  4. Clear memory: While in memory mode, press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.
