Parts Identification

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Connect AC Adapter: Plug into unit and wall outlet (for home use).
  3. Set Date/Time: Press and hold Memory button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  4. Select User: Press User button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat, back supported, and arm resting on a table.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Secure cuff snugly with D-Ring.
  4. Press START/STOP. Unit inflates automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet until measurement completes and cuff deflates.
  6. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse. Hypertension/Irregular Heartbeat icons if detected.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off, or unit powers off automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Understanding Your Readings

Refer to the blood pressure classification chart (included in manual). Hypertension Indicator: Symbol appears if systolic ≥135 mmHg or diastolic ≥85 mmHg. Irregular Heartbeat Symbol: Appears if irregular rhythm detected during measurement—consult physician if frequent.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

  1. Remove batteries if not using for extended period.
  2. Store in provided case away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and dust.
  3. Inspect cuff periodically for cracks or leaks.
