Safety Precautions

Specifications

Initial Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter. Set date and time.

  1. Open battery compartment: Insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold Memory button until year flashes; use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.
  4. Select user: Press Memory button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.

Tip: For most accurate readings, measure at same time each day under consistent conditions.

Taking a Measurement

Sit correctly with feet flat, back supported, and arm at heart level.

  1. Wrap cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow with tube facing down.
  2. Position: Rest arm on table with palm up; ensure cuff is snug but not tight.
  3. Start: Press START/STOP button; device will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display when measurement complete.
  6. Deflation: Cuff deflates automatically; device stores reading in memory.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped on arm. Wait 2-3 minutes between measurements.

Memory Function

View stored readings by user with average of last 3 readings.

  1. Recall memory: Press Memory button to display last reading for current user.
  2. Scroll: Press again to view previous readings with date/time stamp.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold Memory button for 5 seconds while in memory mode (all readings for current user deleted).
  4. User selection: Short press Memory button when device is off to switch between User 1 and User 2.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent; air dry completely.
  2. Storage: Keep in carrying case; avoid bending air tube.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Remove if not used for extended period.
  4. Accuracy check: Have device checked annually by authorized service center.
