Safety Information

  1. Do not use on infants, young children, or persons unable to express themselves.
  2. Consult your physician before use if you have arrhythmia, other heart problems, or are pregnant.
  3. Do not use the cuff on an arm with an intravenous drip or surgical wound.
  4. Do not inflate the cuff when it is not wrapped around your arm.
  5. Use only specified AC adapter (if applicable). Do not modify the power cord.

Parts Identification

Front Panel: START/STOP Button, Memory Button, User Button (1/2), Power Adapter Port.

Display Symbols: Systolic Pressure, Diastolic Pressure, Pulse Rate, Irregular Heartbeat Symbol, Hypertension Indicator, Body Movement Symbol, User Indicator, Memory Full Icon, Battery Level, Date/Time.

Cuff: Arm tube, Cloth wrap, Metal D-ring, Air tube, Cuff wrap guide (marked range).

Initial Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries as indicated.
  2. Set Date & Time: Press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply Cuff: Sit quietly for 5 minutes. Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Secure Cuff: Pass end of cuff through metal D-ring. Fit snugly; you should fit one finger under cuff.
  5. Position Arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level. Sit with feet flat, back supported.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is the correct size for your arm circumference. Using wrong size affects accuracy.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at the same time each day.

  1. Select User: Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  2. Position: Sit correctly with cuff applied as per Initial Setup.
  3. Start: Press START/STOP button. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain Still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  5. Reading: Cuff deflates automatically. Systolic, diastolic, and pulse readings display.
  6. Power Off: Unit turns off automatically after 1 minute, or press START/STOP.

Tip: Wait at least 3 minutes between measurements on the same person.

Understanding Results

Refer to the provided blood pressure classification chart. Consult your physician with your readings.

Memory Function

Stores readings with date and time for two users.

  1. View Memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows average of last 3 readings.
  2. Scroll: Press MEMORY again to scroll through individual stored readings.
  3. Clear Memory: While in memory mode, press and hold MEMORY button until "CLR" appears.
  4. Memory Full: Icon appears when memory is full. Oldest reading is overwritten.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter (if used) and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean Cuff: Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Do not wash or immerse in water.
  2. Clean Main Unit: Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use solvents.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  4. Inspection: Periodically check cuff, tube, and unit for cracks or damage.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit. No user-serviceable parts inside.

Battery Information

Uses 4 AA alkaline batteries (included for demo, may not be full capacity).

WARNING! Risk of explosion if battery is replaced incorrectly. Replace only with same or equivalent type.
