Safety Precautions

Read all instructions before use.

  1. Consult your physician before use if you have arrhythmia, pre-eclampsia, or other conditions.

Device Overview

First-Time Setup

Prepare monitor for initial use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Set date/time: Press MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust, press MEMORY to confirm.
  3. Connect AC adapter: Plug into monitor and wall outlet (optional, for primary power).
  4. Attach cuff: Insert cuff tube into connector until click is heard.

Tip: Use AC adapter for consistent power and to conserve batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid caffeine, exercise, smoking, and bathing 30 minutes prior.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat, back supported, and arm resting on table at heart level.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 0.5-1 inch above elbow. Artery marker should align with brachial artery.
  4. Press USER button to select User 1 or User 2.
  5. Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically. Remain still and quiet.
  6. Measurement completes when cuff deflates. Results display with hypertension indicator.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off, or unit auto-powers off after 1 minute.

WARNING! Do not inflate cuff when not wrapped on arm. Do not touch cuff during measurement.

Memory Function

Stores 100 readings per user with average of last 3 readings.

  1. View memory: Press MEMORY button. Display shows user, reading number, systolic/diastolic, pulse, date/time.
  2. Scroll: Press START/STOP to scroll through readings.
  3. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY for 5 seconds until "CLR" flashes. Press USER to clear current user's memory.
  4. Average reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings for selected user.

Note: Memory is retained when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning.

  1. Clean monitor and cuff with soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, benzene, or abrasive cleaners.
  2. Store in case provided. Avoid extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, and direct sunlight.
  3. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
  4. Replace batteries when low battery symbol appears.
  5. Have device checked every 2 years for accuracy.
