Initial Setup

Power on monitor; set date and time.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries (not included) or connect AC adapter.
  2. Set date/time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust values.
  3. Attach cuff: Ensure air plug is securely connected to monitor.
  4. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

CAUTION! Use correct battery polarity. Remove batteries if not using for extended periods.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate readings, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

  1. Wrap cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery mark with brachial artery.
  2. Sit correctly: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm resting on table at heart level.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse appear on display. Cuff deflates automatically.
  6. Power off: Monitor turns off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings per user with date/time stamp.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Press and hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to display average of last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes.
  4. Clear memory: To delete all readings for a user, remove batteries while in memory mode for that user.

Note: Memory full icon appears when 100 readings are stored for a user.

Understanding Your Readings

WARNING! Consult your physician if you receive consistently high readings or irregular heartbeat alerts.

Maintenance & Care

Clean with soft, dry cloth only. Do not immerse in water or use solvents.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth and mild detergent if soiled. Air dry completely.
  2. Storage: Keep in storage case in a cool, dry place.
  3. Batteries: Replace when low battery icon appears. Use alkaline batteries only.
  4. Inspection: Check cuff for cracks or leaks periodically.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the monitor. No user-serviceable parts inside.
