Device Components

Identify all parts before setup.

  1. Main Unit: Contains LCD display, START/STOP button, MEMORY button.
  2. Wrist Cuff: With metal clasp, air tube, and positioning mark.
  3. Storage Case: For storing the monitor and cuff.
  4. Battery Compartment: Holds 2 AAA batteries (included).
  5. Air Plug: Connects the cuff tube to the main unit.

CAUTION! Do not bend or twist the air tube excessively.

Specifications

Before First Use

Prepare the monitor for initial measurement.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set Date and Time: Press the MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Apply Cuff: Place cuff on left wrist (unless instructed otherwise by physician).
  4. Positioning: Ensure the cuff is 1-2 cm above the wrist with the display facing up.
  5. Rest: Sit quietly for 5 minutes before first measurement.

Tip: For most accurate results, take measurements at the same time each day.

Taking a Measurement

Follow these steps for accurate readings.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on the floor and back supported.
  2. Place the cuff on your left wrist with palm facing up.
  3. Position the cuff so the air tube runs along the inside of your wrist.
  4. Fasten the cuff snugly using the metal clasp.
  5. Rest your elbow on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
  6. Press the START/STOP button. The monitor will inflate automatically.
  7. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and results are displayed.
  8. Press START/STOP again to turn off, or wait for auto power-off.

WARNING! Do not move or talk during measurement. Do not overtighten the cuff.

Memory Recall Function

Review stored measurements.

  1. Press MEMORY button to enter memory mode.
  2. Press START/STOP to scroll through stored readings for the current user.
  3. Hold MEMORY for 3 seconds to switch between User 1 and User 2.
  4. To clear all memory: In memory mode, hold START/STOP for 5 seconds until "CLr" appears.

Note: Memory is maintained even when batteries are removed.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accuracy and longevity.

  1. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasives.
  2. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Do not expose to extreme temperatures, humidity, dust, or strong shocks.
  4. Do not immerse in water or other liquids.
  5. Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for 3 months or longer.

CAUTION! Never wash the cuff in a washing machine. Spot clean only with mild soap if necessary.

Battery Replacement

Replace batteries when low battery icon appears.

  1. Press the battery cover latch and slide to open.
  2. Remove old batteries observing polarity.
  3. Insert 2 new AAA batteries with correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery cover until it clicks.
  5. Test the monitor with a measurement.

WARNING! Use only AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types.
