Setting Up Your Monitor

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter: Plug into DC jack on side of unit and wall outlet (optional).
  3. Set date and time: Press SET button, use UP/DOWN to adjust values, press SET to confirm.
  4. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to left side of monitor until it clicks.
  5. Select user: Press USER button to choose User 1 or User 2.

CAUTION! Use only specified AC adapter. Incorrect power source may damage unit.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow proper procedure.

  1. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  3. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position cuff at heart level (arm resting on table).
  5. Press START/STOP button - cuff inflates automatically.
  6. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  7. Reading displays when complete - note systolic/diastolic values and pulse.
  8. Cuff deflates automatically.

Tip: Take measurements at same time daily for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls previous readings.

  1. View memory: Press SET button, select MEMORY with UP/DOWN, press SET.
  2. Scroll readings: Use UP/DOWN to view stored readings with date/time.
  3. Clear memory: In memory mode, hold SET for 3 seconds to clear current user's memory.
  4. Switch users: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 memory.
  5. Average reading: Last 3 readings taken within 10 minutes display automatically after measurement.

Note: Memory is maintained when batteries are replaced if done within 3 minutes.

Care & Maintenance

Clean with soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use chemicals.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with damp cloth, air dry completely before storage.
  2. Battery replacement: Replace when battery icon appears empty.
  3. Storage: Keep in case provided, store in cool, dry place.
  4. Avoid: Extreme temperatures, humidity, direct sunlight, strong magnetic fields.
