First-Time Setup

Prepare the monitor for first use.

Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity, or connect the AC adapter.
Set Date & Time: Press the SET button and use the MEMORY button to adjust values. Press START/STOP to confirm.
Attach the Cuff: Ensure the cuff tube is plugged securely into the left side of the main unit.
Select User: Press the USER button to choose User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

Controls and Display

Front Panel: START/STOP, MEMORY, USER, SET. Display Icons: Systolic/Diastolic pressure, Pulse rate, User indicator, Hypertension symbol, Irregular heartbeat symbol, Battery indicator, Date/Time.

Button Functions: START/STOP: Begins inflation and measurement. MEMORY: Recalls stored readings. USER: Toggles between User 1 and User 2. SET: Sets date, time, and other parameters.

Display Readings: Shows systolic pressure (top), diastolic pressure (middle), and pulse rate (bottom). Backlight activates during operation and turns off automatically.

Taking a Measurement

For the most accurate results, sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.

Sit Correctly: Sit on a chair with feet flat on the floor, back supported.
Apply Cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Align artery marker with brachial artery. Secure snugly.
Position Arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level.
Start Measurement: Press START/STOP. The cuff will inflate automatically.
Remain Still: Do not move or talk during measurement.
Read Results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate display when measurement is complete. Cuff deflates automatically.
Interpret Symbols: Note hypertension or irregular heartbeat icons if they appear.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores and recalls past readings with date and time.

View Memory: Press MEMORY button. The most recent reading displays.
Scroll: Press MEMORY again to scroll through previous readings in reverse chronological order.
Switch Users: Press USER button to view memory for the other user.
Clear Memory: To clear all readings for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode. "CLr" will flash.

WARNING! Clearing memory is permanent. Ensure you have recorded any needed data.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter or remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe main unit and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or use harsh chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not wash the cuff. Do not disassemble the unit. Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Troubleshooting
