Initial Setup & Preparation

Before first use, install batteries or connect AC adapter.

  1. Insert Batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries matching polarity.
  2. Connect AC Adapter: Plug into monitor and wall outlet (for home use without batteries).
  3. Apply Cuff: Wrap cuff directly on bare upper arm, 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube aligns with artery.
  4. Position: Sit comfortably with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.
  5. Power On: Press POWER button to initialize device.

CAUTION! Rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Avoid talking or moving during measurement.

Controls and Display

Access functions via front panel buttons. Display shows systolic, diastolic, pulse, and icons.

Buttons: POWER, START/STOP, MEMORY, USER (select User 1 or 2), CLOCK SET.

Display Icons: User indicator, Hypertension symbol, Irregular Heartbeat symbol, Battery level, Memory full, Average reading, Date/Time, Cuff wrap guide. Settings: Set date/time via CLOCK SET button. Select user via USER button before measurement.

Taking a Measurement

Follow proper procedure for accurate results.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes in a chair with back support.
  2. Wrap cuff correctly on bare upper arm.
  3. Press START/STOP button. Cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still and quiet until measurement is complete and cuff deflates.
  5. Readings display: Systolic, Diastolic, Pulse Rate. Icons show if hypertension or irregular heartbeat detected.
  6. Press START/STOP again to turn off, or unit powers off automatically after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory & Data Management

Stores readings with date/time for two users.

  1. Select User: Press USER button to toggle between User 1 and User 2 before measuring.
  2. View Memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings for selected user.
  3. Average Reading: Display shows average of last 3 readings (taken within 10 min) after each measurement.
  4. Clear Memory: Memory is cleared when batteries are removed or via reset (see Troubleshooting).

WARNING! Data may be lost if batteries are removed. Use AC adapter for long-term memory retention.

Maintenance & Care

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe monitor and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not immerse in water.

CAUTION! Do not use alcohol, thinners, or abrasive cleaners. Store in provided case in a cool, dry place.
