Specifications

Initial Setup

Prepare device for first use.

  1. Install batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold MEMORY button for 3 seconds, use START/STOP to adjust.
  3. Connect cuff: Insert air plug into cuff connector until it clicks.
  4. Test device: Press START/STOP to ensure display lights up.

CAUTION! Use only recommended batteries. Remove batteries if device will not be used for extended period.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, follow these steps carefully.

  1. Sit comfortably with feet flat on floor, back supported.
  2. Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  3. Position cuff at heart level, tube facing downward.
  4. Press START/STOP button - device will inflate automatically.
  5. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  6. Results display automatically when measurement completes.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off device.

Tip: Avoid eating, smoking, or exercising 30 minutes before measurement. Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.

Memory Function

Store and review measurements.

  1. Automatic storage: Measurements automatically save to current user.
  2. Switch users: Press MEMORY button to toggle between User 1 and User 2.
  3. Review memory: Press and release MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  4. Clear memory: Press and hold MEMORY button for 5 seconds while in memory mode.
  5. Average reading: Device displays average of last 3 readings for current user.

Note: Memory full symbol appears when 100 readings stored for a user.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures accurate measurements and long device life.

  1. Clean with soft, dry cloth only - no liquids or chemicals.
  2. Store in cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  3. Remove batteries if not using for 3 months or more.
  4. Replace cuff if it becomes damaged or loses elasticity.
  5. Do not disassemble or attempt repairs.
