Getting Started

Prepare monitor for first use.

  1. Insert batteries: Open compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug into AC port and wall outlet.
  3. Set date and time: Press SET button, use arrows to adjust, press START/STOP to confirm.
  4. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  5. Sit correctly: Sit with back straight, feet flat, arm supported at heart level.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is properly positioned for accurate readings. Avoid measuring after exercise or eating.

Taking a Measurement

Follow steps for accurate reading.

  1. Sit quietly for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Wrap cuff properly on left arm (unless specified otherwise).
  3. Press START/STOP button to begin inflation.
  4. Remain still and quiet during measurement.
  5. Monitor will deflate automatically and display results.
  6. Results show systolic, diastolic, and pulse rate.
  7. Press START/STOP to turn off or wait 1 minute for auto-off.

Tip: Take measurements at same time each day for consistent tracking.

Memory Function

Stores readings for two users.

  1. Select user: Press SET to choose User 1 or User 2 before measurement.
  2. View memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings.
  3. Average reading: Display shows average of last three readings for selected user.
  4. Clear memory: Hold SET and MEMORY buttons for 3 seconds to clear all data.

Note: Memory full indicator appears when 100 readings are stored per user.
