Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable surface.

  1. Insert batteries: Open battery compartment, insert 4 AA batteries observing polarity.
  2. Attach cuff: Connect cuff tube to the air connector on the left side of the unit.
  3. Connect AC adapter (optional): Plug adapter into DC jack and then into wall outlet.
  4. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button to enter setting mode.

WARNING! Use only specified AC adapter. Do not mix old and new batteries.

First-Time Setup

Power on monitor; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Select user: Press USER button to select USER 1 or USER 2.
  2. Set date and time: Press and hold CLOCK button, use SET button to adjust.
  3. Apply cuff: Wrap cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow.
  4. Position arm: Rest arm on table with cuff at heart level.

CAUTION! Ensure cuff is not twisted and fits snugly but not too tight.

Connecting to Power

Batteries: 4 AA. AC Adapter: Use only specified AD-AF1 adapter.

  1. Turn off monitor before changing power source.
  2. For batteries: Ensure correct polarity (+/-).
  3. For AC adapter: Connect to DC jack first, then to wall outlet.
  4. Battery icon shows level; replace when low.

Tip: Use AC adapter for extended use to conserve batteries.

Taking a Measurement

For most accurate results, measure at same time daily.

  1. Sit comfortably: Rest for 5 minutes before measuring.
  2. Apply cuff: On bare upper arm, align artery marker with brachial artery.
  3. Start: Press START/STOP button; cuff inflates automatically.
  4. Remain still: Do not talk or move during measurement.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic, and pulse display with hypertension indicator.
  6. Store reading: Automatically saved to selected user memory.
  7. Take average: Three readings within 10 minutes trigger average calculation.

WARNING! Do not use on injured arm or if you have severe blood flow problems.

Memory and Data Management

Memory Review: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings with date/time. User Selection: Press USER button to toggle between USER 1 and USER 2. Average: Displayed after third reading within 10 minutes. Memory Full: Icon appears when 100 readings per user are stored; oldest is overwritten.

Care & Cleaning

Remove batteries before cleaning. Wipe with soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or abrasives. Store in cool, dry place. Cuff can be hand-washed in mild detergent; air dry completely before use.

CAUTION! Do not immerse unit in water; avoid extreme temperatures.
