First-Time Setup

Insert batteries or connect AC adapter; attach cuff to monitor.

  1. Power the monitor: Insert 4 AA batteries or plug in the AC adapter.
  2. Attach the cuff: Insert the cuff tube connector firmly into the port on the left side of the monitor.
  3. Set the date and time: Press the CLOCK button and use the START/STOP button to set values.
  4. Select user: Press the USER button to select User 1 or User 2 for memory storage.

CAUTION! Use only the specified AC adapter. Ensure cuff is not twisted or pinched.

Controls and Display

Front Panel: START/STOP button, USER button, MEMORY button, CLOCK button.

Display Icons: User 1/2, Memory, Irregular Heartbeat, Hypertension, Body Movement, Battery, Date/Time, Systolic/Diastolic/Pulse readings.

Settings: Use CLOCK to set date/time. Use USER to switch between users for memory. Use MEMORY to review stored readings. Press START/STOP to begin/end a measurement.

Taking a Measurement

For accurate results, rest for 5 minutes before measuring. Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor.

  1. Wrap the cuff: Place cuff on bare upper arm 1-2 cm above elbow. Ensure air tube is centered over artery.
  2. Position arm: Rest arm on a table so the cuff is at heart level. Sit still and do not talk.
  3. Start measurement: Press START/STOP. Cuff will inflate automatically.
  4. Remain still: Keep still and do not move your arm until measurement is complete.
  5. Read results: Systolic, diastolic pressure, and pulse rate will display. Icons will show for irregular heartbeat or hypertension if detected.
  6. The monitor will automatically deflate and power off after 1 minute.

Tip: Take measurements at the same time each day for consistent tracking.

Using the Memory Function

Stores up to 100 readings (50 per user) with date and time.

  1. Select user: Before measuring, press USER to select User 1 or User 2. The user icon will show on display.
  2. Automatic storage: After a measurement, the reading is automatically stored for the selected user.
  3. Review memory: Press MEMORY button to scroll through stored readings for the current user. The display shows reading number, systolic/diastolic, pulse, date, and time.
  4. Clear memory: To clear all memory for the current user, press and hold the MEMORY button for 3 seconds while in memory mode.
  5. Average function: After taking 3 measurements within 10 minutes, the average of the last 3 readings will display automatically after the third measurement.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug AC adapter and remove batteries before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth only; do not use liquids or aerosols.

  1. Cuff care: Wipe with a damp cloth if soiled. Do not machine wash or immerse in water.
  2. Monitor cleaning: Wipe display and body with a soft, dry cloth.
  3. Storage: Store in the provided case in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  4. Batteries: Remove batteries if the monitor will not be used for 3 months or longer to prevent leakage.

CAUTION! Do not disassemble or attempt to repair the monitor. Do not expose to strong electromagnetic fields.
